Stranger Things Season 3 Spoilers: Stars Tease Epic Finale "Balcony" Scene

Stranger Things Season 3 may still be a mystery, but the cast is already starting to share spoilers in various interviews. Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) previously revealed when the show could end, and now three more actors have revealed what might be a key detail for the Stranger Things Season 3 finale.

In an interview with Collider, Noah Schnapp (Will), Sadie Sink (Max), and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) talk about their favorite TV shows and apps before dishing on what they’re excited to see in Season 3. Specifically, the Stranger Things stars discussed some particularly impressive shots in the upcoming episodes.

In the following quote, McLaughlin does he best to avoid any spoilers, so you have to read between the lines:

McLaughlin: The last episode, remember on the balcony thing and we were doing stuff with the colors? Yeah.
Sink: I saw that one, it looks really good.

This is pretty tough to parse, but the implication seems to be that there’s a big epic scene on a balcony at the end of Stranger Things Season 3. That’s not much to go on, but it does call to mind the scene from the end of Season 2 where Eleven attempts to close the gate to the upsidedown from a freight elevator while Sherriff Hopper takes out dozens of demodogs with a shotgun.

The word “colors” also suggests some sort of transdimensional warp or something else science fiction-related that could create a bunch of otherworldly colors. Then again, maybe we’re reading into things a little too much.

Regardless, it sounds like we can expect a thrilling ending to Stranger Things Season 3, though at this point we’d be disappointed if the upcoming season was anything but epic.

Stranger Things Season 3 hits Netflix in Summer 2019.
