Here's Exactly When You Can Start Watching 'BoJack Horseman' Season 5

New episodes hit Netflix tonight, but at what time?

BoJack Horseman Season 5 hits Netflix on September 14 (tomorrow!), but what time exactly can you start binging the new episodes? Here’s what you need to know so you can get back into BoJack just as soon as Season 5 debuts.

Netflix almost always releases new content at midnight Pacific time, which makes sense since the company is based in California. If you’re on Eastern time that’s 3 a.m., meaning you probably won’t be staying up late on a Thursday night to watch — unless you’re planning on calling in sick on Friday with a case of hoof and mouth disease (sorry).

More likely, you’ll probably want to kick off your BoJack Season 5 streaming experience on Friday after work or school, or maybe over the weekend depending on your schedule. Then again, if you’re up late tonight and feel like starting the new season go for it, just don’t be surprised if you “accidentally” stay up all night.

BoJjack Season 5 picks up where the previous season left off, with BoJack starring in a new in-universe show called Philbert, a sort of True Detective knockoff about a hard-boiled detective with a mysterious past and a partner who may or may not exist.

As the season continues, BoJack struggles to remember where Philbert ends and his own life begins. The fact that the show-within-a-show is streaming on a Netflix stand-in called WhatTimeIsItRightNow.com (which is exactly what it sounds like) probably doesn’t help.

Of course, BoJack Season 5 also continues the stories of all our favorite supporting characters, including Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris), and Diane Nguyen (Alison Brie ), Todd Chavez (Aaron Paul), and Mr. Peanutbutter (Paul F. Tompkins), and even character actress Margo Martindale. But, as always, it’s really all about BoJack.
