Pixar Uses Arts & Culture Meme to Announce Full 'Incredibles 2' Cast

It's a mini 'Breaking Bad' reunion.

The secret identities of several new Incredibles 2 cast members have been revealed, and Disney-Pixar opted for referencing a week-old meme to do so.

Disney-Pixar announced the full voice cast for The Incredibles 2 with a series of images released on social media. These included several new cast members for the super-sequel, all in the recognizable format of Google’s Arts & Culture App.

Google’s Arts & Culture App has a selfie-scanning section that matches a user’s face with images from a library of more than 70,000 works of art. The end result is a side-by-side image with a percentage match. Disney-Pixar used the exact format to reveal the Incredibles 2 cast, because why the hell not?

The first Incredibles, released in 2004, focused on the super-powered Parr family as they emerged from a quiet suburban life to suit up and battle a supervillain. The sequel picks up with the Parr family, introducing some new characters as the family struggles with fitting into society while also wielding superpowers.

Among the newcomers to the world of the Incredibles is Bob Odenkirk voicing Winston Deavor, a rich, suave businessman that runs a telecommunications company with his sister Evelyn Deavor, as voiced by Catherine Keener. Winston Deavor is obsessed with supers and wants to rebrand them in the public’s eye, and his sister is some kind of technological genius.

Jonathan Banks — who co-stars with Bob Odenkirk in Better Call Saul — voices Rick Dicker, a government agent that helped the Parr family keep their identities a secret.

Sophia Bush voices a new super called Voyd. She’s a huge fan of Elastigirl’s and her powers allow her to create voids that cause objects to disappear and reappear.

Isabella Rossellini will also voice some kind of “Ambassador.”

The cast also includes returning members of the Parr family: Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson), Elastigirl (Holly Hunter), and their children: Violet (Sarah Vowell), Dashiell (Huck Milner), and the baby Jack Jack.

The Incredibles 2 will be released on June 15, 2018.
