Sarah is an entertainment and trade journalist based in Toronto, Canada. She's written for Polygon, Kidscreen, /Film, Consequence, and more, and has covered industry events like TIFF, Sundance, Hot Docs, MIPCOM, Cartoon Forum, and Toronto Comic-Con. She wrote a graduate thesis on Frankenstein in popular culture—the beginning of her obsession with adaptations and classic Hollywood horror.

Sarah's other passion is music: She was a folk artist for many years. Today, she serves on the Polaris Music Prize jury, and reviews music documentaries for Exclaim.
