'On My Block' Season 2 Release Date and Trailer Could Be Coming Very Soon
We know it's dropping this March, but when?
On My Block was a hit for Netflix in 2018, and fans didn’t have to wait long to find out they’d get a resolution to the Season 1 finale cliffhanger. On My Block was renewed for Season 2 only a month after it premiered, but we still don’t have a release date or even a trailer.
That’s particularly surprising since Netflix announced in February that On By Block’s Season 2 release date would arrive in March 2019 (that’s now). We haven’t heard anything official since then, but fans may have found evidence that new information is coming very soon.

Since Netflix tends to release new seasons on Fridays, there are four possibilities: March 8, 15, 22, and 29. March 8 seems to be too soon, considering we don’t even have a Season 2 trailer yet.
However, that may change, as redditor u/CloeB301 noted the bio on the series’ official Instagram page was recently scrubbed of all info, with the page bio simply showing an emoji with a finger to their lips. The official Twitter page features the same mysterious emoji bio.
This seems to suggest that something big could be coming soon, most likely a trailer that also reveals the On My Block Season 2 release date.
Netflix released the Season 1 trailer over a month before the episodes dropped, but that clearly isn’t the case here. The streaming service has debuted a trailer just before the release of one of its original programs in the past. The trailer for Black Mirror: Bandersnatch was released the day before the interactive film. However, that was a different situation.
It’s unlikely there will be as little notice before On My Block Season 2 drops. Still, it is possible since Netflix has already let fans know it’s coming this month.
Fans have eagerly been awaiting Season 2 to find out what happens next after the way things ended in the Season 1 finale. Ruby and Olivia were shot, and it is possible that one or both of them don’t make it. With new episodes arriving shortly, we won’t have to wait much longer to find out, and an upcoming trailer could provide crucial details even sooner.
