Amazon Prime Day 2018: Prime Deals Amazon Announced This Morning

Nothing like saving the best for last.

In case you’re somehow unaware of the particulars of the cultural phenomenon that is Amazon Prime Day, the “retail holiday” officially starts on Monday at 3 p.m. Eastern, with Amazon announcing a ton of Prime Day 2018 deals Monday morning. The deals span an impressive number of categories on the online retailer’s site, and it appears there’s something for just about everyone.

This year’s Amazon Prime Day features 36 hours of deals to Prime members, and they’re pretty epic. If you aren’t currently a Prime member, it might be worth signing up for the free 30-day trial in order to get in on the Prime Day action.

Prime Day will feature over 140 Spotlight Deals in the United States, according to a press release. In addition to deals on Amazon’s site, Prime members can shop certain deals in person at Whole Foods Market, Amazon Books, Amazon pop-up locations, and its Treasure Truck.

For Amazon Prime Day, members can save 30 percent on essentials from AmazonFresh, Presto!, and Solimo. They can also save up to 50 percent on clothes, including Amazon Essentials, Goodthreads, and Daily Ritual, among others.

Prime members will see discounts of up to 30 percent on AmazonBasics items like bedding, office products, cookware, and electronics accessories, too. Plus, furniture and home décor from Rivet and Stone and Beam will be discounted by up to 30 percent.

Amazon Prime Day Fashion

For Amazon Prime Day, shoppers can save up to 50 percent on athleisure shoes for men and women from brands like Adidas, New Balance, and Puma, and get similar deals on activewear from brands such as Champion, Lacoste, Russell Athletic, and Puma.

Discounts of up to 40 percent on denim for kids from Levi’s and The Children’s Place will also be available, and select jeans for men and women from Hudson, NYDJ, and Lucky will also reportedly be up to 40 percent off.

Amazon Prime Day 2018 will have 36 hours worth of deals.

The premium brand 49-inch 4K Smart TV is only $438 for Prime Day. The premium brand 55-inch 4K Smart TV is $478, and the 65-inch 4K Smart TV is just $649.

Prime Day shoppers can save $300 and pay just $599.99 for LG V35 ThinQ, a Prime Exclusive phone. Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth speakers are going to be up to 30 percent off, and Bose QuietComfort 25 Headphones are just $125 for Prime Day.

Sony WH-CH700N Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones are $98. Alternatively, Sennheiser HD 4.50 SE Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones are only $98, and Nura Headphones are 25 percent off.

Prime Day shoppers will be able to save up to 40 percent on certain Micro SD/SD Cards and USBs, and up to 35 percent on select monitors, laptops, and routers. PC gaming laptops, desktops, and accessories will be up to 35 percent off, and 3D printers up to 30 percent off.

Notably, the Jibo Robot will be marked down to a whopping $400 for Prime Day.

Plus, eligible Prime members get 15 percent back on select Samsung TVs, audio, and more on Prime Day, but only if they shop with the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card or Amazon Prime Store Card. That’s certainly one way to get people to sign up for those select credit cards.

Smart Home Deals on Prime Day

For Amazon Prime Day, select Noon Home Smart Lighting products will be discounted 40 percent or more. Smart sprinkler controllers will be marked down 30 percent or more, too. And Etekcity Wi-Fi Smart Plugs — which work with Alexa — will see some discounts as well.

Prime Day Home and Kitchen Supplies

Select furniture, mattresses, and rugs should be up to 30 percent off for Amazon Prime Day. Kenmore refrigerators, ranges, washers, and dryers will specifically be discounted by 30 percent.

For all you wine fans, wine fridges from Kalamera will be on sale. The Opal Nugget Ice Maker is discounted by $100, and Anova Sous Vides are 30 percent or more off for Prime Day 2018. The Coffee Gator is also 30 percent off.

Amazon also announced Monday that the Cricut Explore Air 2 Rose bundles will be discounted 30 percent or more.

And for any cat lovers out there, select cat treats and supplies will be up to 40 percent off, so it’s a good day to treat your feline friends.

Prime Day Video Games

The Microsoft Xbox One S 1TB Starter Bundle + Rare Replay is just $229.99 for Prime Day. Plus, the Nintendo New 3DS XL - Super NES Edition with Super Mario Kart is only $149.99.

Additionally, the Nintendo Switch Gaming Bundle is just $299.99. Happy Prime Day, gamers!

Prime Day Toys, Books, and Baby Products

Select outdoor toys, like specific Nerf, Green Toys, and Radio Flyer products, will be up to 40 percent off, just for Amazon Prime Day. Certain indoor toys, puzzles, and games, including select Play-Doh, Ravensburger, and Crayola products, will also be up to 40 percent off.

There will also be discounts of 30 percent on select products from Melissa and Doug and STEM toys, including deals on select Anki, Osmo, and Sphero products.

Finally, shoppers can save up to 50 percent on a variety of children’s books, so Prime Day is a great day to build your own home library or maybe buy up some books to donate to your local library or school.

Prime Day Sports and Outdoor Gear

Finally, fans of the outdoors can find lots of deals for Amazon Prime Day, too. Shoppers can save 30 percent or more on select Coleman camping gear, and 30 percent on the Traeger Renegade Elite Grill.

The Blackstone 36” 4-Burner Outdoor Griddle Station is 30 percent off, and the Lifestraw Personal Water Filter will also be on sale.

No matter what you’re looking for, Amazon Prime Day probably features some gadget or goodie you’re interested in.
