Trump Will Hang Inauguration Photo With Incorrect Date in White House

Now that Donald Trump has officially been sworn into office, he’s spending one of his first days as president of the United States swooning over a gift celebrating his inauguration. On Tuesday, Trump tweeted out a picture of a commemorative print he received that will be displayed in the press hall. And there’s just one thing a little off about the present: It has the wrong date.

Trump’s inauguration ceremony was on January 20, 2017. If you look closely at the image, you’ll notice the error. Panoramic Visions Photography, the company behind the gift, captioned the picture with “January 21st, 2017.”

Take a closer look:

Many outlets have reported that the Trump inauguration was the most poorly attended one in recent history. Trump claimed in a speech on Saturday that about 1.5 million people were in the crowds, while data from organizations such as Washington-area transit authority WMATA reported that only 193,000 people rode the Metro on Friday as of 11 a.m., and photos from the event show some pretty open spaces.

Either way, Trump didn’t appear to address the fact that the picture he tweeted out had the wrong date.

Trump might not have noticed, but people on Twitter have. They have taken the opportunity to roast the president. He’s gotten some suggestions on some alternative versions of the picture to have framed.

To the Trump administration, perhaps the January 21 date is just another one of those “alternative facts.”

Some people have pointed out that it is the correct date — of the Women’s March on Washington that is.

While Trump’s the one that thought it’d be pertinent to share the gift on social media while busy with running a country, Panoramic Visions Photography is the entity responsible for the error. While the president may be blown away by the business’s work, other people aren’t so much. The Virginia-based printer only has three reviews on Yelp, and they’re all one-stars.

The most recent review from November 2016 issues this warning: “Still don’t have everything I ordered, and they are not answering my email. It has been one year since I had these photos taken. Do business with them at your own risk.”

The other reviewers also have long tales about their frustration with the company. One writes, “Overall, I think you should never use his business for anything. He is disorganized, dishonest, and produces poor quality products… Please avoid this man and save your time and energy.”

But could this picture be a distraction? Along with tweeting the messed up print on Tuesday, Trump also signed executive orders to advance the Dakota Access Pipeline, and his administration has halted all of the Environmental Protection Agency’s grants and contracts along with blocking employees from providing updates regarding the change on social media.

Meanwhile, Trump’s keeping his Twitter feed lively with his own shenanigans.
